Harnessing Data and Analytics Innovation to Improve Veteran Care

The Fall 2022 DOD/VA and Government HIT Summit is designed as a non-partisan, educational and training “Town-Hall-style” Summit that offers a full-spectrum view towards the DOD, VA, and federal efforts to provide Veterans and active duty service members high-quality outcomes and the most advanced healthcare solutions, through a single, unified, and interoperable health IT approach.

This panel discussion will be moderated by James Gfrerer, former VA Assistant Secretary for Information and Technology and Chief Information Officer. Panelists include Dr. Rippen, Dr. Carolyn Clancy, VA Assistant Undersecretary for Health, Discovery, Education and Affiliate Networks, and Tim Paydos, Vice President and General Manager, Government Industry, Global Sales, IBM. The discussion will showcase VA’s management of data as a strategic asset to improve service delivery and outcomes to Veterans and their families.
