January 29 @ 11:30 – 12:30 EST
To achieve exceptional outcomes for our Veterans, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) invests in a state-of-the-art data infrastructure, cutting-edge technologies such as AI, and a comprehensive IT strategy to enhance healthcare delivery, drive impactful research, and ensure the prompt delivery of benefits. VA leaders will discuss their efforts to create an integrated VA where strategy and resources align to improve outcomes for Veterans, their family members, caregivers, and survivors while making security and data confidentiality an integral part of the VA mindset and culture. The VA has prioritized modernization initiatives, following passage of the PACT Act, which created a record number of claims amidst aging systems struggling to keep pace. Moreover, VA experts will discuss how AI is being applied to drive meaningful outcomes and the need for AI governance. They will also explore innovative approaches for utilizing data science in predictive modeling for disease prevention and early diagnosis. Join us to learn how a modernized public health data infrastructure and emerging technologies will enhance Veteran healthcare and the benefit experience.
