Remote and hybrid work environments can create cybersecurity risks as the networks are spread across the nation, instead of in one building. But, the recruiting pool of remote work allows agencies and organizations to hire the most qualified individuals without needing them to relocate. In light of the costs of living, especially close to Washington, D.C., this grants an opportunity to those who previously would not be recognized for Federal work. In addition, the flexibility of remote/hybrid work can compete with the private sector’s offerings, on some levels. Hear as topic experts dive into how an agency can ensure the highest level of cybersecurity while allowing their employees the workplace environment flexibility. What steps can an agency take to achieve a more modern workforce environment?
