Webex is a suite of online tools that provide video and audio communication for group meetings, webinars, webcasting, and online learning. It allows group members to interact and collaborate more effectively by seeing and hearing each other. It also offers other interactive features such as text chat, file sharing, whiteboard, and more.
Webex is used to host online meetings so that VA users can collaborate and interact during team meetings, training sessions, brainstorms, and other group settings when people are in different locations. However, it is not used to share or discuss any sensitive data such as patients’ care, personally identifiable information (PII), or protected health information (PHI).
Webex is readily available for use within the VA, but staff members must create an account. Below are two options for creating an account.

BlackBerry Cloud AtHoc Services for Government is the primary method for VA to send critical information to staff members in times of an emergency or safety event.
Enables fax by email, web access, multifunction device, print to fax services, and even mobile faxing.
