PolicyMap is a web-based subscription platform for data analysis, maps, and geolocation data. The platform enables the analysis of veteran data sets across multiple geographic locations. PolicyMap allows users to gather datasets, maps, tables, reports, and customized regional data. The information obtained from this platform will be used to evaluate trends, define benchmarks, and strategically target opportunities to improve the quality of services received by the Veteran Community.

How we use PolicyMap at VA

Using PolicyMap provides VA staff with the data needed to improve and tailor services to the Veteran Community more efficiently. PolicyMap data can be combined with data from other VA systems to produce credible, actionable, and timely insights across multiple geographic locations. Numerous VA Offices use PolicyMap to obtain data to measure the effectiveness of services and to identify opportunities for new programs.
