IRBNet is a managed service that provides administrative workflow solutions designed specifically for committee and board work. IRBNet is used by regulatory and compliance research office administrators to keep track of workflow management and ensure committee compliance with rules and regulations associated with research committee and board work (e.g., Institutional Review Board (IRB)) and other research-related administration documents, artifacts, and regulations. IRBNet is used to facilitate the management of local research and development (R&D) operations related to the R&D committee, and all associated sub-committees, and the execution of their oversight responsibilities associated with research projects at multiple VA medical center research departments. This oversight includes initial approvals, continuing reviews, expirations, amendments, adverse events, personnel changes, training, and compliance documentation.
