Gen3 Data Ecosystems Platform consists of open-source software services that support the emergence of healthy data ecosystems by enabling the interoperation and creation of cloud-based data resources, including data commons and analysis workspaces. Gen3 aims to accelerate and democratize the process of scientific discovery by making it easy to manage, analyze, harmonize, and share large and complex datasets in the cloud.
Veterans Health Administration Office of Research and Development (ORD) will use Gen3 Data Ecosystems Platform to access, query, and efficiently analyze data in a high performance and secure environment. Researchers will leverage Gen3 Data Ecosystems Platform to conduct the largest precision medicine study of its kind for the Million Veteran Program (MVP).
The Gen3 Data Ecosystems Platform will replace the current Low Impact Gen3 Data Commons when its available in Q3 FY25.
