This cloud-based module tracks and manages staff personnel as they come and go for their various shifts. Users can access the dashboard on a computer via the internet or by using a mobile smartphone. The module, developed by Salesforce, allows Environmental Management Service organizations at VA Medical Centers (VAMC) to ensure all positions are properly staffed 24 hours a day. Supervisors can utilize data from the module for employee accountability, schedule adherence, and performance management.
Day-to-day management of the staff at VAMCs is especially critical during the COVID-19 pandemic when patient load is higher than normal, and many workers might be out sick or in quarantine.
