Health Information Management
This cloud software gives VHA medical staff a direct interface with the patient’s EHR for quick fulfillment of prescriptions. It eliminates the time-wasting process of contacting various pharmacies by phone or email and makes ordering easy and efficient for medical staff. The medications can even be packaged according to the patient’s specific preferences — in bottles, vials, pouches, blister packs, or childproof options.
This product makes ordering prescriptions quick and easy by providing instant access to the patient’s electronic health records (EHR). Medical staff no longer have to wait on hold for the pharmacy to order the medication, freeing up medical staff to see more patients and be more productive.
If the patient has mobility issues or has a contagious illness (such as COVID-19), their prescription can be delivered to their home, care facility, or bedside. It is approved for use by VA pharmacists and pharmacy technicians under a moderate Authority to Operate.
