Training and Credentialing
TRAIN provides web-based courses for health care organizations and health professionals. It’s a learning network for professionals who protect and improve the public’s health. Courses include topics approved by the CDC on current health crises. TRAIN is provided by the Public Health Foundation (PHF).
VA health care professionals around the world can choose from thousands of online courses in the TRAIN catalog. Many courses are specifically designed around Veteran health topics and military culture. This product is also available to non-VA learners as a public health service.
VA personnel interested in using VHA TRAIN to deploy training outside the VA firewall and the Talent Management System should contact Haley Steel (Haley.Steele@va.gov). Users can also submit a request through the software as a service (SaaS) product request form.
If VA employees would like to use or purchase this previously approved service, please submit a SaaS inquiry form to confirm your use case and get procurement approval.
