Solventum – RevCycle Health Services Platform (RHSP)

RHSP hosts the backend functions for Solventum (formerly 3M) 360e, which include: Natural Language Processing (NLP) support for medical coding, Clinical Documentation Integrity, clinician created document input and medical coding edits, self-service reporting, evaluation, and management. Solventum RHSP utilizes robust statistical methodologies to create a comprehensive NLP platform to derive medical codes, assist with medical terminology, and ease the provider front-end workflow. The system operates as one single shared-technology platform serving both the VA and DOD in order to improve medical coder and CDI specialist productivity that results in a higher rate of return to VA financially.

The Office of Community Care has implemented Solventum RHSP in order to connect with DoD Healthcare Management System Modernization Electronic Health Record (DHMSM EHR) to provide improvements to medical coder and CDI specialist productivity by means of Natural Language Processing (NLP) that results in a higher rate of return to VA financially. The system operates as one single shared-technology platform serving both the VA and DoD, but logical separations exist such that no data shall be shared between VA and DOD.
