Product description

This cloud-based document control system is specifically designed to meet the regulatory needs of clinical laboratories. It standardizes policies and procedures to ensure accurate inspections and assessments of all documents. Managers can collect intelligence across departments, carry out inspections, and share training materials by using easy-to-learn portals and dashboards.

How we use MediaLab Federal at VA

MediaLab enables the VA to manage huge volumes of medical documents across their many facilities with both flexibility and scalability. It can be used to create, audit, and track documents in accordance with College of American Pathologists (CAP) standards. It can also be used to manage quality assessments for Point of Care Testing (POCT). Personnel at the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) laboratory use MediaLab to digitize and organize records, and to track record updates. It may be used for non-sensitive compliance documentation. Media Lab is a VA non-reportable system; no sensitive information, personally identifiable information (PII) , or protected health information (PHI), may be used with MediaLab.
