The McKesson Mobile Companion tool connects wirelessly with the McKesson Connect Portal. The technician can review the items offered and see the quantities available at the local distribution center in real time.
McKesson Mobile Companion gives VA procurement technicians the ability to order remotely from their smartphone or other mobile devices, rather than having to be at their desk when placing an order for medications or hospital supplies. This can save precious time when the hospital is running dangerously low on the medications and equipment needed to respond quickly to the needs of Veterans. The technician can get a quick look at the inventory available at the closest distribution center and check other centers if the local location is out of stock. Orders can be placed securely over the McKesson Connect Portal.
