Join us Thursday, June 29, 2023, for the DigitalVA Expo hosted in Silicon Valley, as VA Secretary Denis McDonough and Assistant Secretary for Information and Technology Kurt DelBene join other senior leaders, tech partners, and passionate individuals to showcase VA’s vision for a world-class digital experience for our Veterans.

Featuring the new VA Health and Benefits mobile app and other tech products, participants at this inaugural immersive event will explore cutting-edge advancements in telehealth, artificial intelligence, data analytics, human-centered design, and more, through inspiring keynotes, thought-provoking panels, and networking opportunities.

And that’s not all — also featuring an in-person job fair, whether you’re a seasoned professional or a Veteran aspiring to join a rewarding career in tech, the DigitalVA Expo offers a unique opportunity to learn, network, and get inspired to make a meaningful impact.

This event will be held live at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System. VA leadership keynote addresses and expert panels will also be live streamed for virtual attendees.

Invited guests and job seekers can join us in person at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System, 3801 Miranda Avenue, Palo Alto, California 94304.

Anyone can watch the Secretary’s address, keynote presentation, and panel discussions live starting at 9 a.m. Pacific Time on June 29th. Register for updates and reminders!

Attendee Information

  • Parking: DigitalVA Expo Garage PS1 (use the sidewalk to enter Building 101).
  • Check-in: Upon entry in the Lobby, look for signs to the “Group Room” and a table for check-in, where you will receive your name badge.
  • The Job Fair opens at 10:00am.
  • Wi-Fi is available on site.
  • Suggested attire is business casual.
  • Bring copies of your resume to share with recruiting companies. The following organizations are expected on-site (additional companies may be added; list is subject to change until the day of the event):

  • Set-Up:
    • Registration and set-up begin at 9:00am Pacific Time on June 29
    • Each table will have a navy blue linen drape and two chairs. Under-table storage is available for extra materials.
    • Wi-Fi is available on site.
  • Parking: DigitalVA Expo Reserved Parking Structure 1 (use the sidewalk to enter Building 105).
  • Check-in: Upon entry in the Main Lobby, follow the DigitalVA Expo signage to the registration table for check-in, where you will receive your name badge.
  • Please arrive at 8:30 am Pacific time and be seated in the auditorium by 8:50 am.
  • Light refreshments will be available.
  • Wi-Fi is available on-site.
  • Suggested attire is business casual.
  • All in-person attendees are also welcome to stop by the Technical Job Fair, a short walk to Building 101.
  • Parking: DigitalVA Expo Reserved Parking Lot 101 (use the sidewalk to enter Building 105).
  • Check-in: Upon entry in the Main Lobby, follow the DigitalVA Expo signage to the registration table for check-in, where you will receive your name badge. A staff member will escort you to the Auditorium.
  • Please arrive at 7:30 am Pacific time.
  • Wi-Fi is available on-site.
  • Suggested attire is business casual.
  • Parking: DigitalVA Expo Reserved Parking Lot 101 (use the sidewalk to enter Building 105).
  • Check-in: Upon entry in the Main Lobby, follow the DigitalVA Expo signage to the registration table for check-in, where you will receive your name badge and event materials. A media liaison will escort you to the designated media/press area, where power and internet are available.
  • Please be seated in the designated media section of the main Auditorium by 8:50 am.
  • Wi-Fi is available on-site.

Main Event (Secretary’s remarks, Keynote, Panels):

  • In-person: by invitation only (advance registration required)
  • Live broadcast: open to all (advance registration encouraged for event reminders)

Technology Job Fair (in-person only):

  • Prospective employees: highly motivated technology professionals with a special emphasis on Veterans (advance registration highly encouraged, as on-site interviews may be offered)
  • Prospective employers: technology companies seeking to hire Veterans as a priority (advance registration required due to limited space)
